Each workshop was excellent. Students were engaged throughout, resources excellent and theme appropriate. Overview of 911 at end was really insightful and students understood how it has shifted responses to terrorism. The other colleagues who sat in, including the principal, all also thought it was excellent. Students loved it because they had roles and were active throughout.

KL Ed have consistently produced teaching resources to the highest quality for SINCE 9/11. Not only this, but these resources tackle complex and contentious issues surrounding terrorism and extremism in a sensitive and conscientious manner – giving the teachers using them the confidence and skills to tackle what can be an extremely difficult subject effectively in the classroom.
The workshops KL Ed have designed and delivered for SINCE 9/11 on critical thinking, extremism and terrorism have been an outstanding product for our organisation. The team have delivered workshops on controversial subjects in schools all over the UK, to students of different ages, demographics and socio-economic backgrounds and the results have been consistently excellent. KL Ed have proven a tremendous resource in our mission to build resilience to extremism among the next generation.”
Liam Duffy, Chief Executive of Since 9/11
The workshop facilitator was an absolute delight and facilitated some very engaging and interesting discussions with the young people, which was very well received. Extremism and terrorism can be perceived as difficult areas to talk about. The facilitator was able to navigate these meaningful discussions because he enabled the young people to feel safe and supported.
